What a fun and exciting week! Spent most of my week on Coronado Island… Not a bad place to hang out if you ask me!
MONDAY – I started the week with the Sunset Elope to Coronado celebration of Catherine and Hector from Sacramento. Although the sunset was hidden, it was still a most beautiful moment.

TUESDAY – A meeting with Jessica and Mark to talk about their upcoming celebration at the Twin Oaks House and Gardens in July of 2011.
WEDNESDAY – I first met with Amanda and Kenn to talk about their wedding plans in August and then off to the 20 year vow renewal of Jeannine and Mike on the beach of the Hotel Del along with their children Weston and Allison.

THURSDAY – The Sunset Elope to Coronado celebration of Triston and Andrew, a wonderful couple from Dallas, TX whose family and friends made the trip to share in the magic! The great news is; the sun made it out….

FRIDAY – A few meetings today, first with Bryan and Allison to talk about their wedding in September at Falkner Winery in Temecula Wine Country. Then with Nikki and Matt about their celebration in April 2011 at Tom Hams Lighthouse.
SATURDAY – A wonderful celebration starts the weekend with Bob and Carol at the El Camino Country Club in Oceanside.

Followed by the celebration of Ben and Jessica at the Coronado Community Center.

SUNDAY – Just one celebration today and a most beautiful one at that! The beach wedding of Elizabeth and David at the Hotel Del Coronado!

Blessings,

PLEASE HELP me win this wonderful award, 2 years in a row….. Each year, Bridal Insider recognizes the best wedding vendors through their annual presentation of the “People’s Choice Awards”. The highest recognition given to a wedding vendor because they are chosen by a vote of the local brides and grooms that have used …the services. Thank you so much for helping! CLICK HERE TO VOTE
I am doing my part to be GREEN and with the help of all my couples, we are changing the way things are done to better our environment!
FIRST: All of my couples meetings are presented by electronic media with my iPad. Everything from my ceremony handbook to all the materials my couples need for their license, changing the brides name, vendor referrals and all the additional information I present to my couple. I then present my couple with the same information in a DVD for their use at home. Of course, paper form is still available for couples that don’t use computers and it’s also available online.
My couples ceremony is also presented using the iPad in a beautiful leather bound portfolio.
RESULT: After checking the facts, it looks like I will save ONE tree every two years in paper consumption alone not counting the impact of the printer, toner, etc.
SECOND: After extensive research AND until we can safely dispose of giant lithium batteries in hybrids into the earth after they die, I now drive the VW-TDI, CLEAN CAR OF THE YEAR for three years in a row. Not to mention that it’s next to zero in pollutants and emissions, my fuel mileage has gone from around 25 MPG to nearly 50 MPG!
Rather than jump to meet with couples anytime, I now ask them to help me by scheduling as many meetings together as possible, thus saving even more cars on the road and fuel. I admit that sitting at Starbucks for 4-5 hours can be a little hard on the backside, but I know we’re doing our part!
More news coming soon!
Another great week of meetings, weddings and a sunset elopement in La Jolla!

WEDNESDAY – Two meetings back to back. First with Michelle to talk about her ceremony in August at Keyways Winery in Temecula Wine Country and then with Kelly and Patrick to talk about their August celebration at La Jolla Cove Suites!
THURSDAY – A meeting with Jessica and Christopher to talk about their ceremony plans at The Prado.
FRIDAY – A meeting with Lauren and Gabe to talk about the upcoming celebration at Callaway Winery in Temecula Wine Country and then to a wonderful and intimate celebration at a private seaside home in Carlsbad with Mark and Judy. A fun and romantic couple with a beautiful setting!

Vendor Shout Outs: Hawaiian Guitarist Tini Gray and Nan at Classic Filmworks!
SATURDAY – One of those fun and exciting days for celebrations! First in Temecula Wine Country with Miranda and David at Villa De Amore with plenty of friends on hand to make the magic complete.

Vendor Shout Outs: DJ Paul from Sterling Productions, Lauren and the great staff at Villa De Amore and Photographer Justin Hulse!
Then, off to the cliffs of La Jolla for a Sunset Elope to La Jolla celebration with Jenna and Sam. A wonderful couple from Iowa that came out to San Diego with their good friends. An amazing night!

Blessings,
