Weddings – Week Ending August 9, 2009

This week: Another wonderful week of meetings, weddings and a fun Elope to San Diego moment. Weddings this week at the Admiral Kidd Club, 2 ceremonies at Los Willows, Old Richland Schoolhouse, and The Crossings in Carlsbad.

Monday – Busy day for me with couples meetings with 3; First with Lyn and Tom to talk about their special Bernardo Winery wedding in September. Then with Libby and David to talk about their beach wedding next July at the beautiful Hotel Del Coronado and then with Matthew and Amy to share in their plans next April at South Coast Winery in Temecula.

Wednesday – A wonderful Elope to San Diego moment in Carlsbad at a private beach house at sunset with Dru and Rachel. A wonderful couple from Oklahoma City that shared their moment with family and friends overlooking the ocean.

Lauren from Sand~sational Ceremonies came along as the couple had ordered one of her beautiful Lenox sets. A big thank you to Tim at 8 Twenty 8 studios for taking care of the photos for this elopement and for grabbing this awesome shot!

Thursday – I met with Kate and her Mother to talk about her celebration in September at Lake Oak Meadows in Temecula followed by a rehearsal at Los Willows in Fallbrook and then another rehearsal at Admiral Kidd Club in the afternoon.

Friday – A wonderful Scottish Highlands Wedding at Los Willows in Fallbrook with Jerry, Lisa and their family and friends. This was so much fun as she was brought in by boat (a wonderful lake on the grounds) by piper Larry Samuels. DJ Alex from Pro Sound DJ’s was on hand for the reception.

Saturday – A very busy day! It started at 10am with the celebration of Joel and Lyn Marie at the Admiral Kidd Club on San Diego Bay. As you know I just love this location and with 150+ guests, it was the most perfect spot for the magic to happen.

Had the pleasure to work with DJ Primo and photographers Lori and Rachel of Artistic Photography By Lori.

Then, off to the Old Richland Schoolhouse in San Marcos for the celebration of Matthew and Jessica. Good to see Lisa and Hal from Focus-On-U photography, it’s been way too long!

Then to finish off the day, off to The Crossings in Carlsbad for the wedding of Amber and Jeff! This was one of those fun weddings where the personalities of my couple shines and becomes a heartwarming moment for all, including me! Hence the photo with me below having a little fun with the wine bottle!

Sunday – Back to Los Willows where I was Friday for the wedding celebration of Ashley and Michael. A wonderful and intimate celebration complete with the bridal boat ride (it’s very cool) and I worked again with DJ Alex from Pro Sound DJ’s.
