Weddings – Week ending May 25, 2008

Another Awesome week for weddings in the Temecula Wine Country.

Friday - A very small and intimate ceremony at South Coast Winery and Resort in Temecula with Verenice and Joshua. Because of the rain, the moment moved from the rose arbor in the vineyards indoors into the actual wine tasting room. Candles were lit, fireplace roared and viola, the magic came together.

Saturday - A day off to go play at the in Coasta Mesa. I needed to run my new Scottish Wedding flyer’s up to a few vendors and share some time with the MacFarlane Clan President, Michael. I serve on the board of directors for the Clan MacFarlane and as the Clan’s chaplain. Don’t let Michael scare ya, he’s a teddy bear like me.

Sunday - Two weddings on Sunday afternoon. First was a wonderful moment at the clock tower with my Doctors; Ryan, a Doctor of Ophthalmology and Dawn, a Doctor of Medicine. They both just graduated and it’s been many months in planning and it all came together.

I once again shared time with Preston from VS Productions, one of my favorite DJ’s/MC’s.

and of course, one of my favorite wedding coordinator;s Leah from South Coast.

A special thank you to Frank from Impact Images, I’m sure he and his team captured some wonderful moments.

I then ran off to for a wonderful celebration with Joseline and William. This was so special as they made sure to include an acknowledgment of her parents who have passed and a special thank you to her family that are in the Military and have been called to duty for the 4th time…. Godspeed.

Thornton is a wonderful and beautiful winery that makes for a great wedding ceremony location. It was a pleasure to work with Sandra Ashcraft once again, she’s a real pro!

More to come next week…..

To all that have served, to those that serve and for those that have paid the ultimate price for my freedom, thank you, thank you, thank you. May god bless you, keep you and protect you, always!

    Dear Reverend Chris,

We wanted to thank you for making our wedding ceremony so special. The most important aspect of the ceremony for us was to have it reflect who we are as a couple. And you did this so perfectly. You really made it about us, and you made our family and friends feel involved in the ceremony. We were both so happy to say our own vows to each other, and we thank you for your encouragement. You gave such wonderful advice, and your words were so uplifting. You brought the perfect balance of spirituality and religion into the ceremony, which was exactly what we wanted. Our guests really enjoyed the ceremony, and felt that you did an amazing job. Thank you for making our wedding day exactly what we had hoped for. Also, thank you for being so available to answer our questions prior to the wedding. You made it really easy for us during the planning. Ryan and I are so happy that you performed our ceremony.
