Weddings – Week Ending October 11, 2009

This week: Another one of those fun and busy weeks of meetings, weddings and elopements in America’s Finest City! 1 Elope to Sunset Cliffs moments and 2 Elope to La Jolla celebrations. A wonderful park wedding at Sea Grove Park in Del Mar, a winery celebration at Bernardo Winery, A harbor side destination celebration at the Kona Kai on Shelter Island and a Hawaiian celebration at the Pala Mesa Resort.

Monday – A wonderful destination Elope to Sunset Cliffs celebration with Dennis and Janice. Just the three of us and photographer Janis Foley on the edge of the Pacific, most awesome!

Tuesday – A few meetings. First with Bucky and Jen who were left needing an Officiant for this Sunday at Pala Mesa Resort and were rushing around meeting with Officiants. Then with Abigail and Scot regarding their intimate celebration this Friday!

Thursday – A wonderful destination celebration with Duncan and Victoria from the UK at the Bernardo Winery in Rancho Bernardo.

Had the honor to work with Annie once again from the winery which is always a pleasure and with Melissa from Melissa McClure Photography. This was the first time we had the pleasure to work with each other although have known of each other for a very long time with a long list of mutual personal and professional friends.

Friday – A wonderful and romantic celebration seaside at Sea Grove Park in Del Mar with Alex and Joy. A hundred or so family and friends joined in this wonderful celebration.

Then, off to La Jolla for the celebration of Abigail and Scot. A small and intimate setting on the cliffs of La Jolla with parents and son Noah on hand. I forgot to capture the moment with my blog camera but photographer Richard Santini was quick to send me an image to help… Thanks Richard!

Saturday – Another fun day! First a meeting with Steven and Nancy to discuss their plans at Lake Oak Meadows in Temecula next August and then off to the Kona Kai Resort on Shelter Island for the destination wedding of Wes and Sarah! What an awesome couple and many fo their friends and family made the trip out to be part of the magic!

Sunday – Two celebrations back to back. First I was asked by Bucky and Jen to share in their Hawaiian celebration at the Pala Mesa Resort. They were in a pinch for a last minute replacement for their moment and I was happy and honored to have been selected to be part of the magic.

Had the pleasure to work with Kendra at the Pala Mesa Resort for the first time and she kept everything going perfectly and I hope to work with her again more. Plus, worked with Heather and Skip of Shadowcatcher Imagery for the first time, real pros!

The I rushed off to a destination sunset Elope to San Diego celebration with Daniel and Julie. Another on those true elopements, just the three of us with photographer Janis Foley to capture the moment and witness the celebration.
