Weddings – Week Ending June 1, 2008

What a great week with meetings with couples, weddings and more baby birds?

Monday - Peeked outside and found Momma bird back in the plant from a few months back and yes, two more eggs….

October is becoming a very busy month in the Vineyards of Temecula.

Wednesday - A meeting with Nicole and John to discuss their ceremony at South Coast Winery in October…

Thursday - I met with Stephine and Jim also planning their special day at South Coast Winery in….. October. I am honored to meet with every single couple that calls me….

Friday - An Elope to Coronado moment with Rachel and Bobby from Minnesota that was truly an “Elopement”. To run away with ones beloved! They simply arrived, got their license and we made our way to the beach. She called the day before to make sure to tell me that this was going to be completely casual. So, break out the hawaiian shirt and count me in!

She said she chose me after talking with all the others (about a half dozen Officiants popped up on the internet in the last year offering what I started..LOL) and she said I had the most caring approach and she didn’t feel like she was getting ripped off. I am most humbled.

As they didn’t have friends with them…with a public marriage license in hand, we needed a witness. We waited for just the right couple. Sure enough, we found a loving couple, married 23 years and it was her birthday. Catherine and Michael stood in. He taking the photos and she standing by as witness. This is when magic happens, when you know it’s right and the moment is romantic and true to its word. I am a lucky man.

Saturday - A castle Wedding with Stacy and Joseph at Mount Woodson Castle. I just love this place. So romantic and although a very warm day, it was perfect in the Garden setting.

This location should be on your list as a possible site. I have no clue what the costs are, what they offer compared to other sites, but it’s so darn pretty.

Sunday - A wonderful celebration with Kimberly and Brian at the Temecula Creek Inn. This is yet another beautiful location for a secluded wedding and reception.

I worked once again with Gary and his assistant J.P. from DJ Guy. One of the few pros I get to work with and is always a pleasure….. Crystal from the Temecula Creek Inn had everything running smooth and made my job that much easier. I also worked with Michelle, Shannon and Twan from Seven Gardens Photography.

Have a great week and I’ll see you next Sunday…… Oh, seven (7) weddings on the books for next week,… I’ll be a little tired but Sunday night and will do my best. LOL
