Another great week in my little corner of the world…. I met with 2 couples for interviews; Elba and Brian on Monday and Trisha and Terrance on Wednesday. I also met with Royce and Tricia to go over their ceremony for the big day. Royce was a relief pitcher for our San Diego Padres but was picked up as a relief by the Atlanta Braves. Great southpaw!
I was able to get my new business cards designed and ordered (due in tomorrow-Monday) and performed 3 wonderful celebrations. I will post the new cards when they come in.
Friday morning started the weekend with a hawaiian celebration at the Bali Hai on Shelter Island. I love to work with Larry at the Bali Hai…My couple Stella and Alex had friends and family come in from across the country. I failed to remember to take a photo but I have sent an email to the photographer to send me one if he finds the time.
Saturday I spent with Lisa and Christopher. This was a special time for me…….

This is one of my biggest honors when a wedding vendor asks me to share in their special moment. I work with Lisa with Elope to San Diego often and she is one of the photographers for Hal Martin at Focus-On-U Wedding Photography. Hal and I have a lot in common and he has been a good friend over the years.

Hal has a great staff and they are always fun to work with….

What made this even more special was I worked with Carol Glowacki at the Twin Oaks Golf Resort. Carol was our coordinator at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido where Mary and I shared our special day! She was awesome and I hope to work with her more often!

DJ Rex from CD Toons has been a staple in the San Marcos area for years and years and I can’t count how many weddings we have shared. I can always count on the ceremony sound coming together without a hitch. I work a lot with him at Lake San Marcos and Pacific Palasades in Carlsbad.

Hats off to Katrina O’Donnell Custom Flroals for a beautiful job on not only the florals, but for the work on the cake!
Sunday was a Temecula Wedding Minister day and a special day it was at Thornton Winery in Temecula. Amy and Xavier asked me to share in this special moment and they even used one of the beautiful Sand Ceremony sets that my daughter Lauren creates with Sand~sational Ceremonies (another commercial plug for Lauren..LOL) Don’t mind our hair……100mph winds will do that….LOL

This was a very windy day and with the fires from Julian and the desert sand blowing made it a very weird day but a day full of love and celebration. I worked with DJ Guy….wait, not just one of the many staff DJ’s, theeee actual “Guy” in DJ Guy!! He was a real pro and I enjoyed his work.

I also worked with photographer Cary Pennington. Another real professional and we both remember working together before somewhere, we just can’t remember. Either it was that uneventful or we both work waaaayyyy toooo hard…LOL

All in all, another great weekend…
Looks like I have the next few weekends off to enjoy some down time with the family. I’m off to Disneyland next Sunday with Mr. Eden and the family and then who knows, I might get all my new postcards, flyers and biz cards for the Scottish stuff done and I might even get the Temecula Wedding Minister stuff done too.. Can you imagine, time off???? Watch out kids……pull the grandparents, kids and dogs off the street……LOL
