Another great week with SEVEN weddings over the weekend!

Wednesday - Private and Confidential celebration.

Friday - First a meeting with Christopher and Stephanie; they are planning their ceremony at the beautiful Lake Oak Meadows in Temecula next April. A early evening ceremony with Carolina and Matthew overlooking the harbor at the Island Palms finished the day. What a wonderful and intimate setting for family and friends.

It’s always a pleasure to share time at this venue and Brianna is always fun to see and work with! I also worked with BJ and Tyler from DJ Guy and with photographer Martin Kosmicki who did a great job making this couples day special..

Saturday - 3 ceremonies made for a busy…. but wonderful day. If I have failed to mention just how much I love what I do on this Blog I’ll just say it again. Can you imagine? I share time with two people on one of their most special days in a great city. Can you imagine? On a day like this, I get to do it THREE times!

My day started with a wonderful ceremony at one of my favorite hidden gems in San Diego. The Karl Strauss Gardens in Sorrento Valley with Patrick and Betsy. I love this couple and this venue!

Everything went perfect with the help of their on site coordinator Angela, who was just awesome by the way, and the DJ talents of Victor and Dominic of Sunset Mobile Music.

Then off to the tropical gardens and gazebo of the Bahia hotel and resort on Mission Bay with Kristin and Logan. This is a very intimate wedding garden in a tropical setting that makes it so heartwarming.

As this was a destination wedding most of their wedding vendors were from out of the area but a big hats off and great job to Nick Adams their photographer AND guitarist…

To finish my day, a drive over to the Bali Hai on Shelter Island for a ceremony on San Diego Bay with Eddie and Becky.

Awesome place and as I have posted many times here on my blog, working with and his staff at the Bali Hai is a highlight to my work! I worked with John from J Salgado Images and old friend Mike from Higher Level Sound, a great wedding DJ. Oh, I just had to mention the yummy white chocolate fountain from Marin from Chocolate Haven. This was simply awesome and the smell was, well, heavenly to say the least!

Sunday - 2 wonderful celebrations to end the weekend. First with Jennifer and Michael at Paradise Point on Mission Bay – Hawaiian Style! This was so much fun complete with hawaiian entertainment and the traditional blowing of the conch shell to srat the ceremony.

A few special mentions from this ceremony. First; Erin from Behind the Bride. I base a good coordinator on a totally different scale than most. I always look how coordinators handle pressure and make everything come together. Throw a last minute venue location change at Erin and a few other last minutes craziness and she shines. Great job Erin!

Another fun part was Janelle Fiske of Sliver Cup Bakery. She was a delight and her work… Yummy!

Last but not least were the entertainers. As soon as I get all their information, I will post it here AND…. Christopher Todd the photographer. I have worked with him and his wife many times now and it’s always a pleasure, a real pro!

Then, a quick change from casual Hawaiian to three piece suit for a sunset Elope to Coronado moment with Martin and Kelly on the beach by the beautiful and historic . I have to say, it’s been a long time to have such a happy couple, and I mean happy! They were so full of love and captured what the elopement is all about. They made the journey to this beautiful location from Houston Texas and I hope to hear from them again….

Old Friend Richard Santini took care of the photo work. Richard is still one of my favorites photographers in San Diego… They were lucky to grab him.

I am a most blessed man to be given this much happiness in my work. As long as he let’s me keep doing this, I am here to serve!

Have a great week and we’ll post more next Sunday…….

Rev. Christopher did a fantastic job with our wedding. If you want your guests to have a relaxed and fun time at the reception, than there is no better way than to have a relaxed yet serious tone at the ceremony- and that is what Rev. Christopher provided!

    Dear Rev. Christopher,
We were thrilled with the beauty and light-hearted tone you brought to Matt and Carolina’s non-denominational wedding ceremony. It made those of us from our Jewish faith feel very comfortable. Thinking back to the excitement of it all, I don’t think we thanked you for all you said and did to make it so special. I planned to write a thank you, but this will work. Thank you again for such a wonderful and enlightening ceremony. It was beyond compare!
    Sincerely, Ellen and Bob Miller
