Had a blast meeting with Gina and Brian, Heather and Daniel and Michelle and John to talk over their plans for the upcoming ceremony’s.
Since the birth of my brand spakin’ new grand-baby Saffron, I have had zero access to my small digital camera so I do not have photos of my weddings but will speak about them….
Friday - An Elope to Coronado sunset elopement on the beach in front of the Hotel Del with Katie and Michael from Arizona on Friday. It was raining all day and when I met with my couple, the rain stopped and we we made our way out to the Coronado beach, the sun came out….Amazing! I worked with Lisa from Focus On U Photography and this was the first time since I married her and her hubby at the Twin Oaks Resort back on October 20th. (Story and pics HERE from Lisa and Christopher’s wedding)
Saturday - Two weddings back to back for me; first, another Elope to Coronado Elopement and just like Friday, the rain held off long enough for a great moment. Emari and John were from San Jose and brought along a few friends for thhe special moment….I worked with Chad Nelson Photography. He and his wife had just returned from a….. get this…… a 3 month honeymoon!
UPDATE 12/14: Chad was cool enough to send me a photo from this elopement….Thanks Chad!
I jumped in my car to get to the end of La Costa in time for a 6pm private ceremony at the couple’s rec center. Patty and Bob are an awesome couple and I had such a great time working with them preparing for this special moment. The weather cooperated right up to the very moment the ceremony started. We even tried to take a moment to all hide until we though tit was safe only to have the bride “Call it” and we all raced inside where the reception was to be help, stood in front of the burning fireplace and shared the moment by candle light amongst friends and family. I love this when it happens as it brings everyone together and it is a day no one will soon forget. Of course, rain on your wedding day is a blessing……
I hope to have photos to post here soon…..most of all, I hope to get my camera back…LOL
