Wedddings – Week Ending August 24, 2008

This week: I took some much needed time off this week to tend to the house, family and the “jump through the hoop” paperwork of the new house. I did of course still have time to share with a confidential gathering in La Jolla and Wedding celebrations at the and the Carlsbad Hilton over the weekend.

Tuesday - 2 meetings today; first with Vikki and her Mother to discuss her ceremony plans at Humphrey’s on Shelter Island next March and then with Summer and Derek who are celebrating next May at Paradise Gardens in Oceanside.

Wednesday - A confidential Elopement.

Saturday - I took advantage of the beautiful day and jumped on the putt-putt up to Valley Center where my family was having a reunion/picnic at Bates Nut farm. I was able to spend an hour with my family which has been way too long in happening. (Like Years!) I rode back home, changed and headed to Coronado for a wonderful celebration on Glorietta Bay at the with Eric and Jennifer. This was a fun and intimate celebration from the first minute.

I had the pleasure to once again work with Harpist Lea Lyn Bennett who is a real pro!

I also worked with photographer Michelle Mowrey and her staff, who by the way are just awesome and I think there is a little magic when it comes to 3 ladies with cameras working with a bride. I can’t wait to see her work.

Sunday - An intimate setting at the Carlsbad Hilton started the day with Dennis and Jennifer. What a great couple and a very fun and loving family, most traveled from New Jersey to be here!

I worked again with Patti Patterson Photography. She and I worked just a few weeks ago at the Kona Kai on Shelter Island.

I also worked with Ronald from 3 Kings productions. A fun and lively DJ who kept the music fun and upbeat!

I’m booked solid this upcoming week with 9 celebrations….. I can’t wait (I think I get more excited than my brides). Blessings,
