Weddings – Week Ending November 2, 2008

This week: A great week with a few couples meetings, 2 celebrations at South Coast Winery and Resort in Temecula including a Scottish Celebration and an intimate Elope to La Jolla moment.

I took the week before off to take care of moving from one home to another (and I am still moving LOL).

Monday - A meeting with Renee and Mike to talk over their plans at Falkner Winery in Temecula next May.

Saturday - 2 celebrations back to back at South Coast Winery and Resort in Temecula. First a wonderful celebration at the Winery’s Bell Tower with Corrine and Christopher. Family and friends from across the US made the trip to be part of the magic.

Then, a quick change into my MacFarlane kilt and Scottish formal for the celebration of Amy and Thomas at the Winery’s Rose Arbor. This was a great ceremony with family from Scotland making the long trip. It was indeed a magical moment.

It was a very busy week and another one on the way with still more moving from one home to another and getting the old home ready as a rental.

Prayer Request: I normally don’t bring my personal family life into my blog however, my family could use your prayers of support during a very hard time. My Father has been fighting to recover from surgery for the past three months and has battled very hard to make strides to make it back onto his feet. Sadly, this battle is not one to be won and on Friday, opted to come home to share his final days with his family. This has been hard on all of us but we love him enough to respect his wishes. Please send some prayers of support and for strength for our family. He has been a very blessed man and has lived a very long life full of love.

Blessings to each of you and thanks for stopping by!
