Originally planned at the Bali Hai on Shelter Island, some last minute construction issues made for a last minute venue change. Larry Bauman and his staff were awesome in helping us make this not only easy, but beautiful!

He was not only a special man to his family and friends but a legend in the NHRA (and still holding a record…) We miss you and Love you Dad!

He rebuilt the dragster a few years ago and it sat in [...]]]> My Dad (Father in law) Ted Cyr passed away this morning in his sleep. He was not only a special man to his family and friends but a legend in the NHRA (and still holding a record…) We miss you and Love you Dad!

He rebuilt the dragster a few years ago and it sat in the NHRA Museum in Pomona, CA until just recently. Learn more of him HERE.

We are planning a public memorial in Escondido, CA and will post it here when everything is finalized.

It was a whole new perspective for him to be that close to a train and to actually get in and take a ride. We simply rode to San Juan Capistrano for lunch and he had the time of his life. It must be a boy thing…He felt so old to ride and I felt young talking trains… I guess it’s all relative. We had a great time!
