Wednesday [...]]]> Another exciting week of meetings and of course, Temecula Wine Country Weddings and a beautiful Cuvier Park “The Wedding Bowl” ceremony in La Jolla.

Monday - I met with Joel and Lynda to discuss their ceremony at the Admiral Kidd Club in August of 2009! Imagine, that much planning in advance…. they get 10 bonus points.

Wednesday – was another Daddy Daughter Day, this time, we took a drive to Redlands to visit with the great people over at R.P. Blandford & Son Ltd and of course, I dropped off my new Scottish Wedding Flyer’s.

Thursday - I met with Leah Bennett from South Coast Winery in Temecula and Preston Foreman of VS Productions to discuss the many summer winery weddings that are up and coming and I also dropped off my new Vows from the Heart of Scotland flyer’s. The wine maker at South Coast is a McPherson and they fly the Scottish Rampart flag in front of the winery, very cool!

Later that afternoon I met with William and Joseline to discuss their ceremony at Thornton Winery in Temecula at the end of the month.

Saturday - I had two winery weddings in Temecula, first; Aileen and Ben who celebrated a picture perfect moment at Churon Winery. I had the chance to work with Cindy again, a wedding coordinator I had the pleasure to work with years ago at Pala Mesa Resort. It was good to work with her again.

That was followed by a late afternoon celebration with Roy and Lisa South Coast Winery in Temecula.

What a wonderful couple. They had a full size 14 piece band that was just awesome! This ceremont took place at the clock tower and is one of my favorite locations.

Sunday - An early day with a trip to the San Diego Airport to drop off my wife Mary so she could catch a flight to Vegas for a convention. I’m going to fly out on Monday to share some time with her and take her out for a Mother’s Day Dinner. (It’s the least I could do seeing how she was not able to share this most special day with us and she had to work, dragging convention material through airports and then set up a convention booth). I’ll take the camera just in case there is something to share when I return.

From there, a trip up to La Jolla for another special and fun “Wedding Bowl” ceremony complete with family and friends. Victor and Nozomi are a wonderful couple and it was a perfect day as just when I was sharing final thoughts of the ceremony, the coastal clouds moved out and the sun moved in.

One of my favorite harpists was on hand to help in the celebration. Mary Fawcett, The Wedding Harpist, is always a pleasure to work with and listen to. Lauren from Sand~sational Ceremonies supplied the Sand Ceremony items that were custom made to fit the bridal party flowers.

By the way; Mary and I rode our motorcycles out to the Wild Animal Park to check out the new platform they have built that now overlooks the Lion encounter. This is a great addition to the park as it also has an elevator, something that has been needed for so very long for the handicapped visitors. It lends for a great view.

More to come next week that includes a wedding at the happiest place on earth… A magical Disneyland dream wedding comes next Saturday, I can’t wait!

Wednesday - I met with Leonardo and Charmie at my favorite Starbucks in Poway and we shared some time together to discuss their Cuvier Park “The Wedding Bowl” wedding plans and then off to another Starbucks in North Escondido for a meeting with Aileen and Ben to talk about the plans at Churon Winery in Temecula.

Saturday - Another Elope to La Jolla sunset moment with Nate and Joelle and once again, another beautiful day.

Sunday - I performed a wedding by “proxy” for Nathan and Tracy.
