WEDNESDAY – Had a lunch meeting with Brenda Swann of Swann Soirees. She and I are teaming up next Monday for my “Mai Tais and Munchies” party at the Bali Hai on Shelter Island our annual Toys for Tots drive. This will be our 2nd year working together to help the US Marines make Christmas day special for so many kids!

THURSDAY – A meeting with Tshwanda and Darnell to talk about their New Years Day celebration at the beautiful NTC Chapel.

FRIDAY – Started the weekend with an Elope to Coronado celebration with Brandi and Randy. A beautiful sunset helped to make this moment so romantic!

SATURDAY -  An intimate celebration at a private Estate in Carmel Valley with Paul and Erika. What a great time had by all and what a wonderful view!

SUNDAY – An Elope to La Jolla Sunset celebration with Justin and Michaela. What a great way to end the weekend… So much love and happiness and what a view! I forgot my camera so a big thank you to Janis Foley Photography for sending this to me for the blog, you so rock!

Monday – I met with Natalie and Jeff to talk about their celebration in October at La Jolla Shores.

Tuesday – I met with Christine and Brian at Harbor Island Park to go over their [...]]]> Wow, another fun week of meetings, weddings and elopements…. 8 weddings total and one was a SUNRISE celebration in La Jolla Shores!

Monday – I met with Natalie and Jeff to talk about their celebration in October at La Jolla Shores.

Tuesday – I met with Christine and Brian at Harbor Island Park to go over their ceremony coming up on Saturday and then with Anna and Joseph regarding their Wedding Bowl celebration in October.

Thursday – A SUNRISE (5:45am) wedding celebration with Benjamin and Elizabeth at Scripps Browning Park above the La Jolla Cove. What a great way to start the day! Awesome couple as well as their family and friends….

A mid day meeting with Holli and Brandon to talk about their upcoming celebration at the Hyatt Mission bay in August. Then, a late afternoon Elope to La Jolla moment with Jessica, Thomas and their beautiful daughter Gianna. Just the three od us and their witness, a special moment indeed.

Friday – I met with Carly and Jose to talk about their celebration in April next year at the Old Richland Schoolhouse and finished the day with a beautiful Wedding Bowl Sunset wedding celebration with Renee and Timothy.

Saturday - A busy, busy day! Started the day at the beautiful La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla with Somer and Rewdy! A wonderful and tender moment with family and friends that made the moment so special.

Vendor Shout Outs: Guitarist Colin McCalister (one of the best) Victor and his awesome staff at the La Valencia and photographer Jason Walis.

From there I was off to Marina Village on Mission Bay for the celebration of Thomas and Ayme. what a great day as just right before the ceremony, the sun broke through making the day that much better!

After this wonderful celebration I was off to Harbor Island Park for the ceremony of Christiane and Brian. A wonderful destination celebration with family and friends to help in the celebration, with such a wonderful view.

Vendor Shout Out: Holi and Mat of Sutography.. Awesome Husband and Wife team!

From there, off to Sunset Cliffs for the Elope to Sunset Cliffs celebration Jeffrey and Jaime. A fun day I won’t soon forget as it was a wonderful family celebration!

Sunday – Wow, what a wonderful way to celebrate the day. A celebration at the beautiful Los Willows in Fallbrook with Robert and Abbi. Plenty of friends and family on hand for this special day and the boat ride around the lake for the recessional.

Saturday – [...]]]> Thursday – I met with Jill and her Mother to discuss her upcoming celebration at the Museum of Contemporary Art, La Jolla.

Friday – A great way to start the weekend with an Elope to Coronado moment with Chrissy and Kyle, a wonderful couple from Illinois! They and a few friends shared in the moment.

Saturday – A celebration with Elizabeth and Joseph at the Ranch House Chapel on Camp Pendleton. This is a beautiful location and I hope I can share more celebrations at this chapel.

I had the honor to work with the trio of Caprice Strings and Hal, Lisa and Marie from Focus On U Photography.

Sunday – I have to say I had one of the most calmest Brides in the world considering moments before her celebration, we were hit with the 7.2 earthquake! Jill and Eric from Roseville planned their destination wedding at Pocket Park at the Museum of Contemporary Art, La Jolla. A small gathering of family and friends shared in the magic and although a few frayed nerves, it turned out wonderful!

Hats off to photographer Richard Santini for keeping the Bridal party calm as he took photos in the ready room during the shaking!

Following this celebration, a walk across the street for a Sunset Elope to La Jolla moment with Morenike and Lucky with their beautiful daughters. Other than myself and photographer Janis Foley, it was just us on the edge of The Wedding Bowl to enjoy the moment.. A true elopement indeed!
